There was good news from North Dakota’s academic world last week. North Dakota State University will allow its faculty to complete an ambitious research project bringing comprehensive sex education to at-risk teens in the Fargo area. The million dollar national research grant was unfrozen and Molly Secor-Turner and Brandy Randall will begin the planned project within a few weeks. Maybe – just maybe – intelligent, ambitious, young women will change this old story!
Hear Dr. Secor-Turner and Dr. Randal address the controversy:
Finally, they got it right
This is wonderful news!
Can’t we all just get along?
It’s amazing that reason won out over religion! Maybe there is hope for the future.
I am so proud of Molly and her colleagues. She really is the “future of nursing education.”
